My Body Is a Lens is a film that starts at the 2024 solar eclipse, and uses planetary movements and geological records as jumping-off points to explore memory, meaning-making and subjectivity. Performances shot over a year in one of Central New York’s decommissioned quarries, at home and through affiliation with the Stone Quarry Hill Art Park comprise this essay film that explores the distance between perception and object, and how relationships are formed through personal narrative.

First installed with solo show Fossil Memory at the Schweinfurth Art Center in Auburn, NY in collaboration with the Stone Quarry Hill Art Park.
