There Is Ringing Inside, It Is Evening is a collection of solo and collaborative performances which were projected, looped and accompanied by the live score of an audio installation in solo exhibition 'There is Ringing Inside, It is Evening.' These short performances address the loss of my partner and an attempt to connect with his absent figure through interactions with vacancies in the frame and ritual bells - a reference to Bell, his middle name.
Sonic accompaniment mimicked with the original audio file filtered through the bell it acted upon when wired through a transducer in the exhibition space. Made in collaboration with Michael Zuhorski and Meredith Moore. 2023.
