This film of ritual actions addresses themes of care-giving, care-taking, and utilitarian ritual turned transcendent through the lens of repetition. The intentional and incomplete movements depicted weave a sensory litany based on the filmmaker’s lived experience of what it means to be devoted, to be loving, to perform sex work, to perform passive endurance for the benefit of others–an endless loop of motion with no distinct point of resolution.
